Watch These Queer people of colors Frankly talk about the Racism They Encounter on Gay Apps

“When I initial transferred to New York, it was an unspoken thing in which, like, I’d be thinking about individuals and they’re like, ‘Oh, you are really adorable … but, you’re Asian,’” says Nick Kim of his experience of racism on homosexual programs.

He’s one among four people of colors who recently spoke to documentary filmmaker and journalist Patrick G. Lee towards racism on gay applications they encounter online off their people in Lee’s latest “No strain” video show.

Hornet teamed up with Lee to generate a series that explores the experience of queer men of tone on homosexual programs. Lee’s No Filters supplies a compelling and informative looks by and queer individuals of shade (QPOC). By providing sound to QPOC encounters and helping everyone else much better read all of them, maybe we could develop a significantly better, most humane online community that embraces all of us.
